　　Volker Seifert教授的主要臨床領(lǐng)域?yàn)檠苌窠?jīng)外科，實(shí)驗(yàn)研究主要集中在蛛網(wǎng)膜下腔出血后腦血管痙攣的起源。1990年，他獲得了德國(guó)神經(jīng)學(xué)學(xué)會(huì)學(xué)術(shù)研究獎(jiǎng)，以表彰他在神經(jīng)血管領(lǐng)域的突出貢獻(xiàn)。尤為擅長(zhǎng)顯微外科和微創(chuàng)腦腫瘤外科手術(shù)、顱內(nèi)動(dòng)脈瘤及腦血管畸形手術(shù)、腫瘤顯微手術(shù)、脊柱顯微手術(shù)、計(jì)算機(jī)圖像引導(dǎo)的顯微神經(jīng)外科手術(shù)。

　　學(xué)術(shù)成就

　　在多所大學(xué)任職后，1999年Volker Seifert教授擔(dān)任法蘭克福大學(xué)神經(jīng)外科教授和主席。2001年，擔(dān)任法蘭克福大學(xué)臨床神經(jīng)科學(xué)中心主任，該中心被認(rèn)為代表歐洲復(fù)雜神經(jīng)血管疾病和腦腫瘤顯微外科領(lǐng)域的至高水平。他發(fā)表了500多篇學(xué)術(shù)文章于期刊和醫(yī)學(xué)教科書(shū)上，內(nèi)容包括血管神經(jīng)外科、影像引導(dǎo)下腦腫瘤手術(shù)及顱底手術(shù)。他是目前德國(guó)神經(jīng)外科的學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)長(zhǎng)。
